Self Note is a FREE self contained note application. No external editor is needed as the EXE is the note and the editor in one. Use this application to store any text you want! All changes are saved and encrypted to this EXE file. You will see a dialog say “Please Wait. Writing text…”. After that has closed the text has been saved. Not meant for extremely large amounts of text.

Warning:: Do not forget the password. There is no way of recovering the text.

- 256 bit AES encryption
- Text is never saved to the hard disk
- Drag and Drop text file onto the Self Note.exe will allow you to create a new Self Note from that text file.
- Option to have no password (text WILL NOT be encrypted!)
- If you use the password “NoPassword” with out the “’s, the note will not be encrypted and the password will be removed.
- You can also choose the Remove Password menu option under the File menu

Hmm… That’s odd. It developed it on a 64bit system. I am using Win 10 64. It is 32bit software but it should work fine. Do you get an error message at all? Try right-clicking on the setup file and Run As Administrator.
